| Name | Hillingdon underground station and the A40 road |
| Distance | 0.20 miles from UB10 8SX |
| Description | The trackwork in this photograph is about the only fixture that was here twenty years ago. The rest of the transport infrastructure is new, being the rebuilt Hillingdon station, with the A40 Hillingdon Circus bypass below. The Metropolitan and Piccadilly Lines share the trackwork over the A40 bridge here, and a Piccadilly Line train bound for Uxbridge is about to depart. The elevated structure on the left is the pedestrian walkway to the station from Long Lane. |
