Description	This school was named after Blair Peach, a schoolteacher and anti racism protester who was killed during a riot in Southall in April 1979. The riot followed a meeting of the far right wing National Front party in Southall -- a gesture that was clearly intended to inflame tensions and offend the mainly Asian local population.
