| Name | Teddington station |
| Distance | 0.01 miles from TW11 9AA |
| Description | The station was opened by the London & South Western Railway in 1863 on the newly constructed branch line from Twickenham to Kingston. In 1869 this line was extended to New Malden where it joined the LSWR main line to Southampton, thereby giving Teddington a service to and from Waterloo in both directions. Meanwhile a branch line to Shepperton was opened in 1864 from a point just to the north of Teddington. All lines serving Teddington were electrified in 1916. Trains to Waterloo in both directions and to Shepperton from platform 1 still serve the station. |
