| Name | Alleyway to Lodge Lane Car Park |
| Distance | 0.06 miles from N12 8RP |
| Description | Alleyway, which seems to be called Winifred Place (though the small wooden name board looks a bit unofficial!), beside the Iceland Supermarket with some interesting kerbstones and cobbles. I wonder if they were laid to fill wheelruts. There was a bus service from the Torrington (a now closed pub on the corner of Lodge Lane) to Charing Cross in 1851 and the vehicles may have turned here. An alternative, suggested by the 'point like' formation of the Kerbstones in the foreground, is that there were tram sidings here. More research is required! The road at the other end is the High Road. |
