| Description | A memorial to the 33 people who were killed in the rail accident near Abergele on 20th August 1868, they were buried in the mass grave behind the chains. Listed among the 33 victims killed there was a Lord, two Ladies, a Baronet and a Judge. The locked carriage doors prevented escape, and 28 of the victims burned to death.
