| Name | Anvil Pottery in the old smithy, Llanrhaeadr |
| Distance | 0.03 miles from LL16 4NL |
| Description | Viewed from the tower of St Dyfnog's church. Anvil Pottery is located in the village smithy and though converted in 1981 into a pottery the work was undertaken so as to intrude as little as possible with the former use. The remains of the forges, the workbench and tool rack and the housing for the forge bellows are intact. The kiln is located in the former shoeing bay. The pottery is open Monday to Saturday by Allan Hughes and John Hughes, now also joined by Krithia Roberts. Information about the Jesse window in the church and the holy well of St Dyfnog may be discovered by a visit. http://www.anvilpottery.co.uk |
