| Name | Recess with stone trough |
| Distance | 0.17 miles from G82 4HQ |
| Description | This recess lies alongside Renton Road, and is located not far to the south of the road bridges that are shown here: Road bridges. The recess is mentioned in the book "Renton Between the Wars" (2007) by the late Jim Murphy; when following Renton Road southwards from those bridges, "about a hundred yards after the first bend you will see a recess cut into the wall with a stone trough. This was a resting place for horses where they could get a well-earned drink." |
