| Name | Former industrial site |
| Distance | 0.19 miles from EH26 0QF |
| Description | Beside the North Esk, taken from a wooded area full of old mounds and brick ruins beside a disused railway.. Across the river is this fine brick chimney, suggesting an industrial site there too. The North Esk supported many mills along its course, it is a fast flowing stream suitable for powering mills. At the time there was still a working paper mill down stream of here, in a neighbouring square. (Now being turned to houses) |
