Description	The line of Cannon Street can still be seen, but soon all will disappear under the long awaited final stage of Derby's inner ring road (some 40+ years in the making). Cannon Street was part of an area known as the "Little City", which consisted of low quality high density old housing, and was cleared in 1959-1961 as part of "slum" clearance. At the current time this area is given over to car parking.
