Description	The castle was owned by Selfridge, of the store fame, and has been in a rather sorry state during the end of the 20th century. It was badly damaged by fire and lay dormant and decaying for many years before being restored. It is now back to its former glory ? the exterior at least ? and is licensed to hold marriages, popularly used for that purpose.
